Reading Notes II (Characteristics of Poetry)

(3) Among all kinds of literary styles in China, poetry is the most emphasis on rhythm. The rhythm of poetry mainly refers to the regular local changes of voices with different lengths and strengths in poetry. If each poem pauses evenly, it will form a distinct rhythm. There are strict rules about pauses in China's ancient poems, which are generally two meals in four words, three meals in five words and five meals in seven words. Adjusting the tone also helps to strengthen the sense of rhythm. Is the sound high or low? , straightness, length changes, thus forming different tones. Ancient Chinese can be divided into four tones: flat, rising, falling and entering tone, while modern Chinese can be divided into four tones: flat, rising, rising and falling. The regular arrangement of the flat voice (Yin Ping, Yang Ping) and the rubbing voice (Shangsheng, Desheng and Rusheng) will form an alternating rhythm. Sentences of different lengths are composed of syllables and steps, showing the rhythm of different emotions. The rhythm of poetry, also called rhyme, refers to the orderly repetition of words with the same vowel in the same position. Rhythm includes alliteration, abdomen rhyme and foot rhyme. On the one hand, the rhyme of poetry can strengthen the sense of rhythm of poetry and achieve a harmonious and tidy sensory aesthetic effect; On the other hand, it mainly promotes the expression of emotions and the creation of artistic conception.

(D) Artistic conception

Poetry has three realms. One day, the scenery: If you want to write a landscape poem, then the scenery in Shi Yunfeng is extremely beautiful. The fairy is in the heart, stays in the scenery, sees the scenery in the heart, holds it in the palm of your hand, and then thinks about it and knows the image of the scenery, so it is similar. Second, the situation: entertainment and resentment are all in the body, and then think about it and get its feelings. Artistic conception: if you think about it in your heart, it will be true.

The works are profound and profound, while the light ones are strong in language; Bright and colorful, the plain language is also Chinese. In other words, there is no rhyme at all, and its beauty comes from the present reality.

In the Ming Dynasty, Lu Shiyong said in "A General Theory of Poetry and Mirrors": If you have rhyme, you will live; if you don't have rhyme, you will die. Rhyme is elegant, but no rhyme is vulgar. Rhyme is silent, and no rhyme is heavy. If there is rhyme, it is far away, and if there is no rhyme, it is a game. Looking for a little dyeing, the mood is turning, the emotion is in Yi, the rhyme is graceful, the tone is in the throughput, and the body is in the parade. This is the origin of rhyme.

It seems that verve is indeed an indispensable factor in the beauty of poetry and a prominent feature of scenery. Charm is an aesthetic effect composed of seeking, meaning, emotion, events, style, language, posture and other factors.
