Jiangxi Poetry School is the first poetry school with a formal name in the history of China literature. In the early years of Song Huizong, around A.D.11,that is, around six years after Huang Tingjian's death, Lu Benzhong wrote the Sect Map of Jiangxi Poetry Society, and named the poetry school with Huang Tingjian's creative theory as "Jiangxi Poetry School".
At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, Fang Hui called Du Fu the ancestor of Jiangxi Poetry School, and was also called the three masters of Jiangxi Poetry School with Huang Tingjian, Chen. Fang Hui put forward the theory of "one ancestor and three poets" in the book Yingkui, which formed a poetic school. This school advocates Huang Tingjian's theory of turning iron into gold and robbing a fetus to change bones. Moreover, the members of the poetry school are mostly influenced by Huang Tingjian, and their poetry creation style is mainly chanting the life of the study and paying attention to the scrutiny skills of words.

form
As early as the early years, Lu Benzhong wrote the Sect Map of Jiangxi Poetry Society, and named the poetry school headed by Huang and Chen as "Jiangxi Poetry School". "Jiangxi" is the west road of the south of the Yangtze River in the Song Dynasty. Huang Tingjian, Schell and others of the poetic school 1 1 are all from Jiangxi. The so-called "Sect" was originally a term of Zen. Perhaps because Zen was prevalent at that time, Huang, Chen and others had deep attainments in Zen and borrowed Zen to refer to poetry school.
Main influence
Although the four gentlemen of Sumen were important creative forces in the poetry circles in the middle and late Northern Song Dynasty, Jiangxi Poetry School, with Huang Tingjian as its founder, undoubtedly had a far-reaching influence on schools with the same poetic theory and creative characteristics.
