Bird, from Gansu, broke the standard questions in the creation of young poets and had his own unique writing skills and perspectives. With his unique poetic expression and broad poetic spirit, he created many excellent poems, which attracted the attention of the poetic circles.
It is understood that the selection of "Young Poet Laureate" was jointly organized by Running Magazine of Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles and College of Literature of Luoyang Normal University. Liu Jibao, Dean of the College of Literature of Luoyang Normal University, and Bai Yinhua, President of Running Bar magazine of Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, served as the directors of the jury. With a rigorous, fair and responsible attitude, the activity first selected more than 100 candidates from the young poets who are active in the national poetry circle, and then on the basis of full reference to their respective literary achievements, after repeated argumentation by the jury, the candidates were finally determined.
Bai Yinhua, director of Running magazine of Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, said at the award ceremony: "The award of Young Poet Laureate aims at prospering poetry creation, vigorously promoting the poetry creation of young poets all over the country, building a poetry creation platform suitable for the development of young poets, and promoting mutual communication among contemporary young poets. It is planned to be held once a year from now on, and strive to make this literary activity another cultural business card in Henan literary world.
