Wu (1609 ~ 1672), whose real name is Meicun, was born in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, and his grandfather moved to Taicang, Jiangsu Province, Han nationality. He was born in Taicang, Jiangsu Province and was a scholar in Chongzhen. Qian was a famous poet in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. He was also known as the "Three Masters of Jiang Zuo" with Gong Dingzi, and was also the pioneer of Loudong Poetry School. He is good at seven-character songs and is a beginner who advocates style. Later, he became a new singer, and later he called it Meicun style.
Literary achievements: Wu Yisheng wrote more than 1000 poems. He is the author of fifty-eight volumes of Mei Cang Draft, Mei Cun Shi Hua, the legendary Moling Spring, Zaju Tongtiantai, Lin Chunting, Sui Koulue of Shicheng, Spring and Autumn Geography, etc.
Wu, together with Qian and Gong Dingzi, is also known as Jiang Zuosan Jie, the pioneer of Loudong Poetry School. Poetry was dominated by patriarchal clan system in the Tang Dynasty, and so was it in the Song Dynasty.
