Three generations of Ji Guanlin's family members are Peking Opera actors, so he has been playing backstage in theaters since he was a child. He can do somersaults before school age and is born with a good voice.
In middle school, Ji Guanlin participated in the Tianjin Poetry Recitation Competition and won first prize. In high school, Ji Guanlin's talent in voice was discovered by his teacher. The teacher encouraged her to participate in the class debate competition. After the competition, Ji Guanlin became interested in the broadcasting career. Later, in a CCTV program, Ji Guanlin saw Qiao Zhen and Ding Jianhua dubbing for a movie live, and Ji Guanlin learned about the profession of dubbing actors for the first time.
In 2000, Ji Guanlin was admitted to the Broadcasting Department of Tianjin Normal University to study broadcasting and hosting. While dubbing in a recording studio, Ji Guanlin met dubbing actor Zhou Haitao and was asked if he was interested in dubbing for a dubbed movie. Ji Guanlin thought it was fun, so he agreed. While in college, Ji Guanlin dubbed for nearly a hundred translated films. During college, Ji Guanlin interned at Tianjin Communications Broadcasting. However, it was difficult to balance dubbing and hosting, so he eventually gave up the job. By chance, Ji Guanlin met voice actor Qi Kejian. So I called Teacher Qi Kejian to recommend myself and got an opportunity to audition. Ji Guanlin later gained recognition for his performance in the TV series "Zhang Daqian" and officially became a voice actor.
