Han Yu
The rain in the sky was crisp, but the grass was not near at a distance.
the best thing is the spring of the year, which is absolutely better than the smoke and willow in the imperial capital.
This poem is written for Zhang Ji, a member of the Ministry of Water Resources. Zhang Ji ranks eighteenth among his brothers, so he is called "Zhang Eighteen". The style of poetry is fresh and natural, and it is simply colloquial. It seems dull, but it is by no means dull. Han Yu himself said: "The poor and the strange become dull" ("Send a teacher to Fan Yang"). It turns out that his "insipid" is hard-won.
