On the weekend, my parents and I went to the Hangzhou Wildlife Park and saw colorful macaws as soon as we entered the door.
I approached the railing and observed it carefully. Its mouth is like a hook, extremely sharp, and can easily peck open hard fruits. A pair of eyes are round and big, very translucent. The feathers on the head are like a dark red hat, embroidered with pink patterns. The feathers on the back are like a light blue coat, the feathers on the abdomen are like a navy blue shirt, and there is a blue and red tail on the back, which is very dazzling.
Parrots like to perch on branches and cling to the trunk with their sharp and long claws. The parrot chirped loudly, and I took pictures of it with my camera. It jumped up, suddenly flew from one tree, and landed on another tree, making a "ga---ga---" sound.
Parrots are very smart and can imitate human speech. I said loudly to the parrot: "Hello!" It also shouted to me. But I didn't dare to get close because the macaws are very ferocious. I heard that they would even peck off people's fingers when they are angry.
I wanted to own a macaw, but it comes from the tropical rainforest of South America, so I gave up the idea and silently wished them a happy life here.
