At that time, I was shocked to see a poem written by a child in a rural middle school in Yunnan in the documentary "Growing Up for the First Time in Life". I remember that the headmaster of that school said in an interview that most of the children here are left-behind children, most of them will be the owners of this town in the future, and only a few people may walk out of the mountains and realize their ideals. Many people questioned him, and even the Chinese composition in the college entrance examination said "except poetry". What's the point of your insisting on taking poetry classes? The headmaster just smiled and said firmly, "Because children who write poems won't break the glass."
Poetry is perhaps the closest word to the soul.
And our children may be born with the ability to write poems.
Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, once expressed his view of poetry in Nine Books with Yuan Dynasty: "Poet, root sense, Miao character, Hua Sheng, true meaning."
Children's life is poetry, which is precious in true feelings, and children's life is full of real emotional experience.
In infancy, children will express their emotions by crying and laughing. From the moment when the picture of life unfolded before their eyes, they had an experience.
These days, I was reading the book Emotional Mood of Education co-authored by Fan Meinan and Dr. Li Shuying. In the book, I learned two concepts-"educational phenomenon" and "situational experience".
One of the "educational phenomena" is actually every picture that we get along with our children day and night. "Emotional experience" is to look at the inner feelings from the perspective of children.
Last semester, when a boy in our class had a break, he was hit on the head by a stone thrown by another boy, and suddenly he was bleeding profusely. Scared me and my classmates.
He went back to deal with the wound that day and came to class on time the next day.
That day, his material (diary) wrote, "... seeing so much blood, I think I'm going to die." Although he has apologized to me, I will never forgive him! "
I admire this little boy very much. He didn't forge a kind and generous image for himself because it was the homework to be handed over to the teacher, but frankly expressed his anger.
A few days later, I learned from the child's materials that the classmate who hurt him seemed to come to play with him every day. He is very entangled in his heart. He didn't seem to know how to deal with apologies and goodwill from people who hurt him, until one day, I saw such words from his materials.
"These two days, my injured place is a little itchy. My mother told me that this is the wound healing, and the wound will heal one day. I think I will forgive him one day. "
After reading this sentence, my heart pounded, shocked by the fact that the third-grade child could write such a sentence, and excited by his self-healing.
In teaching, I often find some children who are not good at words, but their words can hit people's hearts well. I think it's probably because they are not good at expressing, so they pay more attention to the inner experience. Today, listening to the teacher Shucai, he said: "Children's attention is experiential, while adults' attention is differentiated. "Therefore, children are more likely to learn poetry than adults.
Just because a child's life is a poem, as long as he speaks his mind, it is a poem.
Dai is recognized as a "little poet" in our class. In her materials, there are always poems or essays with illustrations, which have a strong sense of picture.
In the first grade, Dai Dai's mother said she was timid, so she had a lot to be afraid of. For example, she likes her teacher very much, but she is afraid to talk to her teacher.
I think Dai Li is very cute. Her fear is not because she hates it, but because she likes it.
I found that Dai Dai often stared at me with a pair of big black eyes. Of course, I dare not look her in the eye easily. I'm afraid to see her bow her head in panic.
Because of Dai Li's funny personality, I guess she likes to explore what she is curious about in a safe environment, and because she is sensitive, her writing is very poetic and can poke the reader's heart. After reading Dai Li's poems, you will feel that you are enjoying many beautiful pictures that you have inadvertently overlooked with her eyes. Dai Li is holding you around with her little hand to see her findings, and you will find yourself after reading them.
Because Dai Li is too frank, she has written all her thoughts into pictures and her life into poems. ?
Children are born poets, but also because they have unlimited imagination. Shu Cai said: "Poetry expresses cognition in description and transforms description in cognition. Children's limited cognition leads to their extremely rich imagination. I envy the children in our class. As long as the homework of "matching poetry and painting" is arranged, our class will be excellent again and again, which will open my eyes to a person who has no talent for painting.
Even if I don't teach them anything about poetry creation, they can still write works that amaze me with their imagination.
"Poet, root feeling, Miao language, Hua Sheng, true meaning." Speech and sound must serve emotion and righteousness.
We may know the language of poetry and the rhythm of teaching poetry better than children. But we really don't know how to describe our most primitive cognition better than children, and we have no more courage to express our true feelings than children.
Every child is a poet, which does not mean that every child can write poems, but that every child is actually looking at the world with a poet's eyes.
In that case, the only thing we can do is to protect and accompany.
Protect children's "poetic interest", accompany children to experience life, and encourage each child to create his own "poem of life". When he is no longer a child, he will protect and accompany the child in this way.
We can always trust that children can write poems.
