Color of Poetry [Chinese Teaching]

Color of poetry

-Reading Notes on Unit 1 Poetry Teaching in Grade 9

We compiled the first unit poem of the ninth grade Chinese book, and the second class still adopted the method of reading poems in groups.

In class, the teacher asked some questions:

If you use a color to express your feelings of reading five poems in Unit 1, what color would you use? Please tell me the reason.

After a short period of thinking and communication, the children raised their hands to express their views.

Sun Jiayi took the lead, and before everyone was ready, she took the lead in standing up and expressing her views:

Read "Qinyuanchun"? Snow, I will use gold to express my feelings, because this poem is magnificent and devours mountains and rivers, and gold represents the atmosphere; I will use black in "I love this land" because this poem reveals the author's grief and indignation at the invasion of the land and the trampling of the motherland by the invaders, the author's inner pain and love for the motherland, and black represents the author's sadness; I will use blue in Homesickness, because we can see from the poem that the author is writing "sorrow", missing his mother's "sorrow", missing his wife's "sorrow", leaving his mother's "sorrow" and missing his hometown and motherland on the other side of the Taiwan Strait. Blue represents melancholy and missing, so I choose blue. "You are April day on earth" I choose apricot yellow. I found that this poem was written by Lin to my son, and I also wrote it to Xu Zhimo, but I think it is more like writing it to my son. There is deep love for my son between the lines, so the color should be warm, warm, and apricot yellow gives people a particularly warm color; The last poem "I see", I choose green. The first two sections are about the beautiful scenery of spring, full of vitality. It can also be seen in the whole poem that the author expresses his desire to live in harmony with nature through the description of spring, which is green and represents vitality and hope.

As soon as Sun Jiayi's voice fell, there was a burst of thunderous applause. To tell the truth, I can't help but give her some compliments. This baby is really amazing. I admire you for having such a profound understanding in such a short time!

After the applause, the students began to express their views.

I have said all my life: teacher, I don't think it is appropriate to use gold for spring snow in Qinyuan. Better use red. Red represents passion and the color of China. In this poem, the author praises the great rivers and mountains of our motherland, which are magnificent and passionate, and the heating can better represent the characteristics of this poem!

Most students agree with this answer. Before the students gave the answer, I chose red.

For the second poem, please ask your opinions: can gray be used as the color of this poem?

The students began to discuss:

"Well, gray is a cool color, which is in line with the fact that China was trampled by the invaders and the motherland was riddled with holes. It can always be gray. "

"I don't think so. The author wants to express his hatred for the invaders and his deep love for the motherland, and gray is not enough to express such feelings. "

"I think black is more appropriate. It is a dull and depressing color, which just represents the background of China at that time. "

……

Then, I discussed the color of nostalgia. You are April on earth, I think. The children had a heated discussion and could find the basis between the lines.

What is the answer? It doesn't seem to matter anymore. The wonderful classroom and the leap of thinking have been fully demonstrated.

A sudden idea: the color of poetry actually caused such an "uproar", which seems to be very valuable.

From then on, I also know: originally, poetry has color!
