The sound of people crossing the spring reflects the quietness of the mountain. This sentence describes the environment near the farmhouse, and the word "crossing" is dark. The "person" who "crosses" is actually the poet himself, but it seems to be painting himself, and the lyrical subject seems to be integrated into the object and become a part of the scenery. In a short sentence, people seem to be there, as if sharing the author's relaxed and happy feeling when he stepped into a secluded place.
From the first sentence to the second sentence, there is a leap in time and space. "Cockcrow at Noon in Mao Yan" is a scene in which the author walks through the mountain and slopes to the front of the farmer's house. At this time, the sun is shining over Mao Yan, and the chickens of the farmers in the mountains cackle, as if welcoming visitors.
