Meaning: Back then, I was in and out of the city-like luxurious dragon boat, addicted to the gentleness of the red building, day after day, year after year. As a king, Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty was corrupted and degenerated. He became a solitary man and lost his country and his life. He only ended up in a cemetery with several acres of land in Leitang.
It comes from "The Mausoleum of Emperor Yang" by Luo Yin, a poet of the Tang Dynasty.
Original text:
Entering Guo and climbing the bridge and exiting Guo's boat, the red building is like a willow every day.
The king endured all the hardships and only had a few acres of land in Leitang. Appreciation of Luo Yin's "Mausoleum of Emperor Yangdi"
Luo Yin knows the art of satire very well. His poetry is different from the simple and superficial works that reduce the satirical object to nothing. He did not use a magnifying glass to look at its black spots, but used a perspective lens to analyze its light spots and dark spots. He hated it and at the same time regretted that it had lost its original light spots, which aroused endless thoughts and therefore appeared profound. ;
His poems are also different from the kind of straightforward and boring works. He does not use dry reasoning to show his knowledge, but outlines one event after another, showing a picture. Another picture that integrates lyricism, discussion, and scene description, so it appears thick. Luo Yin's poems, which are ironic to the core, have become a unique flower because of their deep emotions and rich charm.
