What does the poem "Qian Fan passed by a sunken ship and Wan Muchun was in front of a sick tree" mean?

"Qian Fan is beside the sinking ship, and Wan Muchun is in front of the sick tree." This poem comes from Liu Yuxi, a famous poet in the middle Tang Dynasty, "The First Meeting in Yangzhou Will Enjoy Lotte".

Liu Yuxi, Zi Mengde, was a famous poet in the middle Tang Dynasty. Born in 772 AD, his ancestors were Liu Sheng, the famous king of Zhongshan Jing, a descendant of the royal family of the Han Dynasty, and he was the same ancestor as Liu Bei, the founding emperor of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period.

It is not surprising that Liu Yuxi was clever when he was a child. Almost all the famous poets in the Tang Dynasty showed their talent in poetry when they were young, and Liu Yuxi was no exception.

These two poems by Liu Yuxi are actually full of philosophy. The poet faces all kinds of hardships in life with a very tenacious and positive attitude. No matter what kind of blow a person has experienced, he should maintain this tenacious spirit and this positive and optimistic attitude. This is also a philosophy conveyed by these two poems.

Speaking of Liu Yuxi, many of his poems are full of this philosophy, which is also related to his life experience. As a great poet, he is not satisfied in real life and has been suppressed by various kinds. Especially after taking part in the "Yongzheng Innovation", his life changed dramatically and he began to live a wandering life. First, he was demoted to Yongzhou, Hunan Province, and then briefly returned to Chang 'an, but because of his tour.

While writing this poem, he met Bai Juyi at that time. The two met in Luoyang. I was deeply moved by the meeting of two old friends. Bai Juyi first wrote a poem "Drunk Twenty-eight Generals Liu" between banquets, and then Liu Yuxi drank such a poem. It is also in mutual echo that such a great work was born.

Liu Yuxi had extraordinary talent when he was young. At the age of 19, when he was studying in Chang' an, he gained a high reputation in the academic circles and became an idol in the eyes of scholars at that time. Moreover, he took the imperial examination, successfully passed the high school, and the macro words he learned later passed easily.

The main idea of these two poems is that there are countless places on the river that once overturned this ship, and Qian Fan, which is already a dead tree, is still growing new leaves. In these two poems, it is precisely to express a feeling of life.

The last two sentences are easy to understand, and after listening to Bai Juyi's poems, the poet was greatly excited before saying that he was temporarily relying on the spirit of a glass of wine.

Therefore, "Qian Fan is on the side of the shipwreck, and Wan Muchun is in front of the sick tree." These two sentences are not ordinary two poems, but more convey a spirit and an attitude towards life. To really understand such a poem, you need to gain some life experience to really understand what the poet wants to express.

In fact, in my opinion, this poem also contains the author's own attitude towards life. Although Liu Yuxi's life experience has changed, his career is not smooth, his life is not smooth, and he is facing aging, but these things have not been taken seriously.

Because the poet is optimistic and positive, he is not afraid of the tricks that life sends out or the hardships that life brings him. He talked with Kan Kan, and faced life and difficulties with a positive and optimistic attitude.
