Is there no need for images to express one's mind directly in poetry?

I need images, but I just express my thoughts directly. The images adopted have relatively clear and fixed aesthetic significance, strong reality and sensibility, and are easily accepted.

Generally speaking, new poetry likes unconventional image combination. In order to convey profound thoughts and complex emotions, new poetic images often show the characteristics of defamiliarization and fuzziness with the help of unconventional combination and abrupt transformation between images.
