Poems by Lin Daiyu and Xue Baochai

Comparison between Lin Daiyu's and Xue Baochai's poems of the same name: Xue Baochai cherishes its beauty in Bai Hai Tang Fu, hiding outside the door during the day and carrying an urn to irrigate the moss basin. Rouge washes away the shadow of the autumn platform, and ice and snow absorb the soul. Only when you are weak can you know that flowers are more colorful, but when you are sad, you can get jade without trace. If you want to pay for Bai Di, you should be clean. If you don't talk about Tingting, you will faint. Bai Haitang Lin Daiyu's curtain is half-rolled, the door is half-closed, and the ice is ground into a basin. Steal a pear for three cents and borrow a plum blossom for a soul. The moon cave fairy sews robes, and the woman who always wipes crow marks in my heart in autumn. Who is shy and silent? I'm tired of leaning against the west wind at night. Read the first couplet first. "Half shutter and half door" shows that begonia is not an ordinary wild flower that outsiders can see, but a fragrant flower in a deep courtyard mansion. "Grinding ice into soil and jade into pots", how beautiful and noble it is to grind ice into jade! Begonia, which grows in such a noble and beautiful environment, can be said to have innate advantages. It is not surprising that Zhuan Xu's "stealing a pear core for three minutes and borrowing a plum blossom for a soul" shows that it has pure and clean quality. From the first couplet and couplet, we can see that Haitang is noble and elegant, which can be said to be a beautiful thing of both internal and external cultivation. So, what is the fate of such a beautiful thing? There is a saying in China that "there is beauty in the wood, and the wind will destroy it" and "the song is high and few". In other words, the more beautiful things are, the fewer people know and the more people want to destroy them. Beautiful things are often just a flash in the pan. The word "a flash in the pan" itself already contains the meaning of not lasting for a long time. Of course, in this poem, we haven't seen the destruction of "360 days a year, the wind and the sword press each other" In this poem, it mainly embodies the saying that "the song is high and few". Then let's see how the author expresses the mood of "high and low". "The fairy in the moon cave sews, and the woman who is always in my heart in autumn wipes crow marks." The fairy in the moon cave refers to Chang 'e, what is the relationship between her husband Chang 'e sewing clothes and her dissatisfied wife crying? The first similarity is that they are all lonely, so Chang 'e in the sky sews clothes to relieve the loneliness of the soul, while dissatisfied women in the world use tears to vent their inner worries. Although we don't know why they are lonely, we can feel their loneliness, and this loneliness shows a sincere and noble quality of "complaining without anger and mourning without injury", although it is said that "complaining without anger and mourning without injury". But since there are grievances and injuries, although noble as Haitang, I have to sigh, "Who is shy and who is silent?" Here, there is the meaning of "high and low" mentioned above. Since it is difficult to find a bosom friend, there is still a glimmer of hope if there is still a long time. However, Haitang is facing "tired of leaning against the west wind late." Time always flows relentlessly, and suddenly the night is dim and tired. Even today, jade bone, an ice muscle, is still a "white pear flower and a wisp of plum blossom fragrance", but it is hard to find when it is bright and tender. "Poor" flowers are blooming all over the sky, but who has pity for the fragrance and death? "The whole poem has nothing but the author's own voice and the author's feelings. It's just that her lyricism is implicit and euphemistic, which is different from many lyric poems that we are used to seeing directly. This is the moving part of this poem. Imagine if Sister Lin directly said that I was born in a famous family, but it was hard to find a bosom friend, and my life was short and heartless. I'm afraid I won't see my bosom friend. Who can understand my Bing Xin? Then isn't poetry simply shouting? And readers will definitely stop reading it. In my opinion, whether poetry is direct or implicit, the key still comes from the author's true feelings. If the reader can feel an emotional power from the heart, then it can be said to be a lyric poem. I think Lin Daiyu is better than others.
