The first five sections of this poem mainly expound the social situation at that time, the main theme of the times and the questions that lead to the answer. The last four sections are the author's national feelings and grand national discourse. We can infer that in this continuous time span, the author's thoughts must have experienced a painful struggle. From the content, we can see that the author tried to change his original theory of poetry creation during this period, trying to accept the concept of poetry creation that poetry serves politics, poetry and real life and combines with the people. As a result, after such a long struggle, the author still can't accept this new concept of poetry creation.
(As the poem says at the end, "Please accept it, this is my answer." )
