Singer: Sting
Lyrics: Dominic Miller, Gordon Sumner
Composer: sting
He dealt cards for meditation.
He seems to be in deep thought when playing cards.
The person he plays never doubts.
His opponent never doubted this.
He didn't play for the money he won.
He didn't play cards to win money.
He didn't play to win respect.
Nor is it to gain people's respect.
He dealt cards to find out.
He searched for the answer in the card game.
The sacred geometry of opportunity
Looking for mysterious geometric probability
The hidden rule of possible results
Hidden rules in possible results
Numbers lead the dance.
Numbers decide everything in the game (literally: numbers lead to dance)
I know spades are soldiers' swords.
I understand that spades are like swords held by soldiers.
I know plum blossom is a weapon of war.
Plum blossoms are like guns whistling on the battlefield.
I know that diamonds mean money to this art.
In the art of playing cards, diamonds are like money (literally: I know those diamonds mean wealth)
But that's not the shape of my heart
But this is by no means a heart.
He might play jack of diamonds.
He may play a diamond J.
He may play the queen of spades.
Or he might bet on the Q of spades.
He may have a king in his hand.
Or you have a k in your hand.
When its memory disappears.
And these memories will fade away eventually.
