What is Milton's educational thought?

Milton (1608—— 1674) was born in a puritan family in London, and received a good cultural education since childhood. He studied in St. Paul's primary school, when Thomas Lee, a famous scholar, was his tutor. Influenced by his mentor and father, Milton developed a strong interest in poetry and music, which laid a good foundation for his later creation. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was appointed as Cromwell's Latin secretary, and he was blind because of fatigue and discrimination. The 25 political essays in this period were mainly written to meet the needs of political and religious struggles. Among them, on education, idol destroyers and defending the British have the greatest influence. From 1660 to 1674, Milton's life was the most difficult and his creative achievements were the most outstanding. After the restoration of the dynasty, he was arrested and imprisoned as a defender of "regicide" and his home was copied. However, in this situation, he completed the trilogy Paradise Lost, paradise regained and Samson with amazing perseverance after he was released from prison.
