The intention of the author of Yao's epitaph

The author is Yao, a servant who killed 130 Japanese pirates and saved the whole town from danger at the expense of his own sacrifice. Its purpose is to praise Yao, a typical figure's anti-Japanese and anti-Qing spirit. The patriotism contained therein is obvious.
