Black Gate? What does that mean?

Mount Hermon-the meaning of mountain peak, its peak towering in southern Lebanon, more than 9,000 feet above sea level, winding 50 to 60 miles from north to south, is the highest peak in Palestine, with snow on the top, which remains unchanged all year round. Before the Israelites came to Canaan, Mount Hermon was a sacred mountain for worshipping Baal. Up to now, the base site of Baal Temple remains at the highest peak. This temple was destroyed when the Israelites entered Canaan. In ancient times, there were temples around the foot of the mountain, and all the doors opened to the top of the mountain. People who worship Baal come to Korea every year, just like Buddhism is facing the mountain. This mountain is called Xilian in Sidon, Shinar in the Amorites and Yun Xi in the Canaanites (Deuteronomy 3: 9, 4: 48). At sunrise, the Israelites killed two kings outside the Jordan River and occupied their land, that is, from the valley of Arnon to Mount Hermon and all the arabah in the east (38, Shu 12 1). The hillside of Hermon is really magnificent, with fertile land, lush trees and rich fruits. The Jordan River originated from this mountain, and when Joshua defeated the Canaanites, he took this mountain as the northern boundary (Shu 1 1: 17, Shu 12: 5, Shu 13: 5, Shu 3: 3, Shu/kloc-0. There is a lot of dew on the top of the mountain at night, which is similar to the light rain in other places. The poet used the dew of this mountain as a sweet and abundant metaphor (Psalm 333) and predicted that Mount Hermon would cheer for the name of the Lord (Psalm 89 12). The Lord Jesus Christ was transfigured on the top of this mountain. His face was as bright as the sun, and his clothes were as white as light (too 17: 1-8). Therefore, although this mountain used to be a place to worship idols, it later became a place where believers met with the Lord.
