Just to see the fallen flowers in spring, summer, autumn and winter,
See also the red leaves in autumn morning.
Autumn wind came to me early.
The moon is more sad for me.
I have no home, no brothers, no friends,
I am lonely, I am lonely!
I drift like duckweed,
From hotels to apartments, from teahouses to wine kiosks.
I feel lonely everywhere,
Loneliness is my country.
I went from south to north just to cry,
Running around just to cry.
Where else in the world?
Can you make me happy at sunset?
My sadness is like mushrooms after rain,
How can I break my sadness?
My loneliness is like an endless sea,
It flooded me like water.
I can't escape from this lonely country,
I will die of old age in loneliness!
Wang jingzhi
Lonely Country is the representative work of Wang Jingzhi's poetry collection Lonely Country. At the beginning of the poem, the poet described the bleak years with "flowers falling at dusk in spring" and "red leaves in autumn morning"; Use autumn wind and moonlight to reflect the desolation in the poet's heart. Let a kind of loneliness and sadness gush from my heart.
Then, the poet complained sadly: "I have no home, no brothers, no friends/I am lonely, I am lonely!" " "In this world, the poet is like a lonely duckweed, with no destination" from hotels to apartments, from teahouses to wine kiosks. "The despair and depression of life haunt the poet's sad heart.
A poet should not be lonely, but his world is a lonely country. "Tears" and "crying" accompanied him in the southeast and northwest. He looked for a place to "tease my mood at dusk", but "sadness mushroomed" and the poet could not break the hidden sadness. The poet struggled in the lonely sea, and the poet shouted in despair: "I can't escape from the lonely country, I will die of old age in loneliness!" " "
In this poem, the poet uses "falling flowers in spring dusk" and "red leaves in autumn morning" to contrast his sadness, and artistically displays "loneliness as an endless sea" in layers, which represents the characteristics of poetry creation in this historical stage, with ingenious conception and vivid expression.
When Wang Jingzhi wrote Lonely Country, he had some experience. He hated the vulgarity, darkness and filth of the old society, and a feeling of being out of place, lonely and depressed filled the poet's young mind and induced him to pour out his lonely feelings. As he said in "Introduction to Lonely Country": "The travelers on this cold and hard railway are only lonely, distressed and bored. They condense into the atmosphere and firmly seal the earth. I write poetry because I am lonely, distressed and bored. "
Wang Jingzhi is one of the four most accomplished and influential Hunan poets (Ying Xiuren, Pan Mohua, Feng Xuefeng and Wang Jingzhi). His two most representative poems are Hui Feng and Lonely Country. Compared with Wind of Hui, Lonely Country is more mature in creation, more exquisite in technique, and pays more attention to the harmony of syllables and rigorous in layout, but its influence is not as great as Wind of Hui.
