Brief introduction of Jinjiang

Jinjiang originates from Daiyun Mountain in central Fujian, with a drainage area of 5629km2, a river length of 182km and an average river gradient of 1.9‰, and flows through counties and cities such as Yongchun, Anxi, Nan 'an, Jinjiang, Licheng and Fengze. There are two tributaries in the upper reaches of Jinjiang River, Dongxi and Xixi. Dongxi originates from Yunlu Village, Chengxiang Township, Yongchun County, with a drainage area of 19 17km2 and a river length of 120km. Xixi originates from Tiaozhou Village, Gande Township, Anxi County, with a drainage area of 3 1, 0 1 km2 and a river length of 1.45km. The two tributaries meet at Shuangxikou, Jingdou Village, Fengzhou Town, Nan 'an City, later called Jinjiang, and meet at Jiujiuxi, Zibin, Jinjiang City to Xunpu, Fengze District, and enter the sea. There are many tributaries in Jinjiang River system, and the river network density is high, reaching 0. 17 1 km/km2. There are 15 tributaries, and the drainage area exceeds 100 km/km2. Judging from the flow direction of the main tributaries of Jinjiang and the geometric shape of the water system, Jinjiang water system has the characteristics of lattice fan-shaped water system 123. Jinjiang is the largest river in Quanzhou, and its downstream is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Fujian Province, which is also one of the most economically developed areas in Fujian Province. Water resources are particularly important for the sustainable development of Jinjiang River Basin.
