It is the first and three meanings of literary concepts in "Introduction to Literature"
1. The concept of literature in a broad sense: the collective name for all oral or written language behaviors and works. That is, all works written in language and writing activities are included. Literature in a broad sense refers to all works written by human beings in language, including both literature and other cultural forms other than literature. Literature here is equivalent to culture.
2. The concept of literature in a narrow sense: a general term for language arts behaviors and works that include comprehensive factors such as emotion, fiction, and imagination. Specifically refers to poetry, prose, novels, reportage, etc. It is both linguistic and artistic. Political papers in broad literature are not included. They are called "beautiful art" together with music, drama, painting, etc.
3. The concept of eclectic literature: a general term for oral or written language works that are between the first two and difficult to classify, such as prose by scholars, historical and biographical literature, modern essays, etc. . It has some characteristics of chivalrous literature but goes beyond the scope of chivalrous literature. It also has some characteristics of general literature, such as "Historical Records" and so on.
The three literary meanings lead to three literary concepts: culture, aesthetics, and convention. The above is for reference.
