What are the five-character quatrains?

Three five-character quatrains:

1. Jiang Xue Liu Zongyuan

a hundred mountains and no bird, a thousand paths without a footprint. A boat on the river, a fisherman in his bagworm moths; Fishing alone, not afraid of snow and ice attack.

Appreciation: In the poem, typical generalizations are used, and Qian Shan Wanjing and the extinction of people and birds, which can best represent the cold in Shan Ye, are chosen to describe the scene of heavy snow and freezing weather. Then draw the image of a fisherman who fished alone in the cold river, so as to express the poet's unyielding and deeply lonely mood after being hit.

2. a note left for an absent ecluse Jia Dao

when I questioned your pupil, under a pine-tree, "My teacher," he answered, "went for herbs". But toward which corner of the mountain, how can I tell, through all these clouds?.

Appreciation: The first sentence of this poem is written that the seeker asks the boy, and the last three sentences are all the boy's answers. The poet uses the method of combining questions with answers, which vividly depicts the anxiety of not finding a place to visit.

3. Yuan Zhen in Palace

in the faded old imperial palace, peonies are red, but no one comes to see them. A few white - haired Las Meninas, sit idle talk about emperor Tang dynasty.

Appreciation: In this poem "Palace", Yuan Zhen can be said to see the big picture from the small, which directly points out the reasons for the decline of the Tang Dynasty. This is also the most unique place of this poem, which seems to be carelessly written. In fact, every sentence has profound meaning and also expresses his own views on history.
