Taking his works (such as Discovery and Song of Seven Sons) as examples, this paper analyzes the characteristics of Wen Yiduo's patriotic poems.
Wen Yiduo wrote two kinds of poems to express this theme. One is about writing abroad, which mainly shows the feeling of missing the motherland. Such works are included in his first book of poetry, Red Candle. Second, I was disappointed and indignant because I didn't like the dark situation after returning to China. Most of these works are included in his second (and last) collection of poems, including Discovery, A Word, Silent Night, Abandoned Village and Dead Water.
