Appreciation of Zheng Xie's Ancient Poem After Snow in the Mountain

After the snow in the mountains

Dynasty: Qing dynasty

Author: Zheng Xie

Opening the door in the morning is full of snow, the snow is clear, the clouds are light and the sun is cold.

There is no drop of plum blossom frozen on the eaves, which is a kind of loneliness.

After Snow in the Mountain depicts the snow scene of a mountain house in winter. In the early morning, the poet pushed open the door, and it was freezing outside, wrapped in silver, and the rising sun seemed lifeless. In the yard, the long ice petals under the eaves show no signs of melting, and the plum blossoms in the corner seem to be frozen and have no intention of opening.

The first two sentences of the poem describe an early morning, after the snow, the earth is covered with silver, the sun rises, and the clouds are light and the wind is light (depicting the picture); The scene in Chu Qing (with a little atmosphere) and the freezing cold after the snow. "Plum blossoms are frozen but not dripping on the eaves, and a kind of loneliness is not equal to leisure" uses the foil method (explicit method), "Plum blossoms are frozen but not dripping on the eaves" highlights the cold weather, and "loneliness is not equal to leisure" highlights plum blossoms' unyielding character (painting scene). The author expresses his will through things, implicitly showing the author's lofty and tenacious character and the quality of leading an honest and clean life (analyzing emotions).

In this poem, Zheng Banqiao wrote down the desolation brought to him by the cold after the heavy snow. It seems to be writing about scenery, but in fact, it is integrating scenery and things, and it gives a deep sigh to my bitter life experience.
