According to legend, after King Zhou went to the Nuwa Empress Temple and saw the golden body of Nuwa Empress, he became inspired by poetry and wrote a seven-rhyme poem. The poem was full of literary talent, but it made the Empress Nuwa furious. She sent Daji, a nine-tailed spirit fox, to become a human being to seduce King Zhou and destroy the good Shang Dynasty.
Another scholar, Liu Yanchang, saw the Holy Mother in the Temple of the Holy Mother, and also composed a poem to express his admiration for the Holy Mother. In the end, the Holy Mother was greatly moved, and the two became immortals. Every combination creates a wonderful story
They are both a graceful lady, a gentleman and a very talented man. They write poems to seduce the woman they like. Why is one generous and tragic and the other happy?
The research on this issue has made it clear, and it also has extremely important reference significance for contemporary men to pursue girls. (The two poetry formats of Qijue and Qilv only flourished during the Tang Dynasty, and the two mythological stories mentioned above both happened in ancient times. Therefore, whether they are poems written by King Zhou or Liu Yanchang, they are all folk interpretations. We Don’t pursue these details, just discuss the matter)
Let’s listen to the details of the past and present.
1. The reference significance of a man chasing a woman across a mountain.
It is said that love is equal, but in the process of pursuit, men must put down their own status. Because Master Confucius said long ago that women and villains are the only ones in the world who are difficult to raise.
Let’s first look at the differences between the poems written by King Zhou and Liu Yanchang.
Poetry of King Zhou:
The scenery of Feng Luan Bao's tent is very beautiful, full of elaborate decorations made of gold and gold. The distant mountains are green, and the sleeves are dancing gracefully to reflect the clouds. The pear blossoms are blooming in the rain, and the peony cage is full of smoke. But if you have to be charming and able to move, you can take back Changle to serve the king.
Liu Yanchang's poem:
The lotus lanterns on the crossroads are more friendly, and the eyebrows should be chaotic and separated. Don’t worry, the head of the jade girl’s peak is cold, but there are still people picking herbs on the rooftop.
There is no harm without comparison. From the artistic conception and wording of these two poems, we can see the different moods of the two men.
Look at the Seven Rules of King Zhou first:
Two of these sentences aroused the great anger of Empress Nuwa: they are all ingenious decorations. Retrieve Changle to serve the king.
The meaning of these two sentences is that no matter how beautifully you dress, you are more than gold and jade. If you are very beautiful, then I will marry you home and serve me.
We are looking at Liu Yanchang's Qijue:
Mo Chou Jade Girl's peak is cold, but there are still people picking herbs on the rooftop. The meaning of these two sentences is that if you are alone here, even a god will feel very deserted. Please don't forget that there is a herb collector like me who is secretly in love with you.
Such a comparison makes the judgment clear. One is domineering and takes possession of beautiful women as his own; the other puts down his posture and expresses lovesickness in his words. If you were a woman, which man would you choose?
2. Let’s discuss the importance of a good horse in your legs and a good man in your mouth.
Men are rational animals, and women are emotional animals. Men generally think about problems from the perspective of practical significance and future plans. Women generally only consider issues from the perspective of physical and mental pleasure and mutual affection (here specifically refers to love).
Sweet words are more harmful to women. This lethality is not even lower than the material basis.
Does that mean King Zhou can’t say sweet words? It can be seen from the poems written by King Zhou that except for the two lines that aroused the anger of Empress Nuwa, the remaining 6 lines should be said to have quite a lot of praise and they were sincere. We are thinking of King Zhou and Daji. The two people also loved each other. In the end, he did many things to subjugate the country for Daji, even if he didn't hesitate. Wrinkles can be judged, and they are actually a dedicated species.
But King Zhou’s other identity is the Human Emperor, which is an existence on the same level as the Emperor of Heaven, so it is said that male power dominates King Zhou’s heart. In his heart, even if Nuwa is a god, she is just a woman and has no respect.
Liu Yanchang's identity is just a scholar, impoverished and of low social status. When he saw a fairy-like and aloof woman, he felt admiration for her. Therefore, the poems he wrote were of extremely low stature.
It is precisely the disparity in status between the two and the difference in mentality that leads to the different attitudes towards women. Every woman hopes to be held in the palm of a man's hand, even if the woman is a god.
This is also the fundamental reason for the different endings of King Zhou and Liu Yanchang in the future.
Having found the root of the problem, let’s talk about the solution.
3. The importance of being a good match.
What we always talk about is the story of a poor scholar falling in love with a rich girl, an official girl or a goddess. The final conclusion is that all lovers in the world will eventually get married, and that love can transcend everything. Class race and even gender.
But why do Chinese people who believe so much in their ancestors always emphasize that they are well-matched?
The Third Holy Mother married Liu Yanchang and was eventually crushed under Mount Huashan.
The White Snake, who had been practicing for thousands of years, was finally suppressed by Fahai under the Leifeng Pagoda.
The seven fairies who married Dong Yong eventually separated and could only meet each other on Magpie Bridge every year.
As for those women who married into wealthy families, how many of them got a happy ending?
Summary: As a father of a daughter, I believe that all fathers always have only one attitude in their hearts, which is not to be rich and powerful, but to be well-matched.
