Creation background:

The folk songs of the Northern Dynasties are mainly works recorded in Chinese after the Northern Wei Dynasty. These ballads are bold and vigorous in style, lyrical and straightforward, and plain in language. This folk song "Chile Song" was first recorded in the eighty-sixth volume "Miscellaneous Ballads" in Yuefu Poems compiled by Song Guo Maoqian. It is generally believed that it is a folk song created by the Chiles. It came into being in the middle and late 5th century.

In the history books, the Chile Song was first mentioned by li yanshou in the early years of the Tang Dynasty. Volume 6, Qi Benji: In 546 AD, Gao Huan, the founding emperor of the Northern Qi Dynasty, led 1, troops from Jinyang south to attack Yubi, a military town in the Western Wei Dynasty (now southwest of Jishan County in southern Shanxi Province), and 7, troops were lost. On his way back to Jinyang, the army rumored that one of the arrows would die and Gao Huan was ill. In order to boost the morale of the army, he ordered Hu Lujin to sing "Chile Song", which made the soldiers nostalgic and boosted their morale.

There have been different opinions from all walks of life about who is the author of Chile Song. Some people think that Hu Lujin is one of the authors, and some even think that the author is Hu Lujin. Some people think that Hu Lujin is only the earliest known singer, not the author.
