I feel that there are more people writing poems and fewer people reading them. Why?

I do feel this way. It seems that many people write poems now, but no one seems to read the poems written. Even if someone watches it, it's just a few people in the circle. Why do you feel this way? Let me start with the definition of poetry.

These poems really have no technical content, and there is nothing to appreciate. According to the standards of those professional poets, this is a rubbish poem. That's true, but I have to say, junk poetry is also poetry. It happens that these doggerel rubbish poems are read by the most people, and everyone can recite a few words.

If these poems are rubbish, they are actually read by quite a few people. And these poems will also pay attention to rhyme, but the antithesis is not so neat and poetic. If you count these messy poems, there are many people who write poems and many people who read them.

However, if you think that such limerick is not poetry, only those orthodox and well-behaved poems are considered poetry, then not many people write and read it. Because this is not the most popular theme at the moment, and reading these poems is quite brain-consuming. Everyone is used to reading the vernacular, and when they see these poems, their heads are big.

People who can really read and appreciate are generally people with the same hobbies. After leaving the campus, the masses almost bid farewell to these elegant words. These words are really brain-burning, not as simple and comfortable as vernacular Chinese. Everyone wants to live comfortably, and it is normal for few people to study.
