The new year has come, but I haven't seen the fragrant flowers yet. It was not until February that I was pleasantly surprised to find that the grass grew green buds. Snow seems unable to bear the late arrival of this spring, but it has been raging, sprinkling a flying flower among the trees in front of the courtyard.

Background:

This poem was written by predecessors in the 10th year of Yuanhe (8 15), when Han Yu was working in Ren Chao History Museum and knew how to patent. Chun Xue's poems in Chang 'an have a subtle aesthetic taste. If you want to praise the snow and type the word spring, start with the feeling of spring. For northerners, it's normal to spend the New Year without youth, but Han Yu, who has been to Lingnan, thinks that spring comes late in the north and the grass buds don't grow until February. However, Snow White refused to leave here. She wanted to walk through the garden and make fun of spring. Drawing lessons from Cen Can's Bai Xuege, the poet imagines snow as a flower, and further imagines snow as an adult, saying that it is too late for spring, and people should decorate some spring flowers. The poem is full of the joy of northerners in winter and spring, which is probably difficult for Lingnan people to understand. This poem should be read together with two poems in the early spring of Zhang Eighteen Members of the Ministry of Water, which were written eight years later.

Appreciate:

Chun Xue is the work of Han Yu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, which depicts a long-awaited snowy picture.

This poem "Chun Xue" is ingenious in conception. "There is no fragrance in the New Year, and the grass shoots in early February." The New Year is the first day of the first lunar month, and spring begins on this day, so it marks the arrival of spring. There are no fragrant flowers in the Spring Festival, which makes people who have been looking forward to spring scenery for a long time in the long cold winter particularly anxious. A word "Du" reveals this eagerness. The second sentence, "I saw grass buds in early February", said that there were no flowers in February, but from the side, feelings were not just sighs and regrets. The word "Jing" is the most interesting. Described the poet's surprise expression when he finally saw the bud of "spring scenery" in anxious expectation. In addition, the word "Jing" shows the novelty, surprise and happy mood after getting rid of the cold in winter. The word "early" contains feelings of regret, regret and dissatisfaction that spring comes too late and flowers bloom too late. In Early Spring, Han Yu wrote: "Although the grass is far and near, it is not beneficial" and "the most important thing is spring". The poet seems to have a special affection for "grass bud", because he sees the news of spring from the grass bud. From the composition point of view, the previous sentence is "not youthful", which is a kind of suppression; The last sentence, "seeing grass buds at first sight", is ups and downs.

On the surface, it is said that there is snow without flowers, but the actual feeling is: people can still wait for the late spring scenery, and see the figure of spring from the grass buds in February, but the snow can't wait, and it has become a riot, flying among trees and decorating themselves with spring scenery. The real spring in the future (flowers in full bloom) certainly makes people feel a little sorry, but this Chun Xue wearing trees and flying flowers still gives people the breath of spring! The poet is not melancholy or sorry for Chun Xue's flying flowers, but full of joy. A poet who looks forward to spring, if there is no spring scenery in nature, he can change into a spring scenery. This is the beauty of three or four sentences, full of strong romanticism, which can be described as a stroke of genius. Despise and Wear the Same Clothes depict Chun Xue so beautifully and spiritually. The conception of this poem is very strange. Snowflakes are flying in the early spring, which was originally the truth that "there is no fragrance in the New Year, and the grass shoots in early February". However, the poet said that snow was flying because spring came too late. This writing style of turning cause into effect adds interest to this poem. The word "flying flowers" turns static into dynamic, turns the coldness of early spring into the noise of mid-spring, and turns it over and over, making readers dizzying.

The third and fourth sentences are simple appreciation: Chun Xue is compared to a person through "doubt" and "wearing" by anthropomorphism, which makes snowflake look beautiful and spiritual. At the same time, Chun Xue, flying in the Woods, seems to give people a breath of spring, adding a strong romantic color to poetry and rendering a lively and joyful atmosphere. This is the beauty of using personification.
