History in My Eyes (Poetry)

History in my eyes is a storybook. Learning history is like listening to stories. Since it is a story, there will be tragedies and comedies. Among the stories I heard, the biggest tragedy is China In modern history, this is a hundred years of humiliation. The Celestial Kingdom, which has been prosperous for so long, has suffered unprecedented heavy losses. This is not like the internal struggle in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" where "the general trend of the world will divide if it unites for a long time, and unite if it divides for a long time." It is a competition between the weak and the strong among the countries in the world. First, Britain, the empire that claims the sun never sets, used the evil opium to open China's closed door. Then, like mushrooms after rain, the great powers began a series of actions to devour China. The most hateful thing is that even Japan, a small country floating in the east, is trying to get a piece of the pie.
