What to teach, how to teach ancient poetry.

Ancient poetry is an important style in primary school Chinese textbooks, and the proportion of ancient poetry in different versions of textbooks is almost the same. Take the textbooks published by People's Education Publishing House and Jiangsu Education Publishing House with the largest circulation as an example: among the textbooks published by People's Education Publishing House, there are 47 ancient poems and 4 ancient poems, accounting for13% of the total textbooks; There are 36 ancient poems in the textbook of Jiangsu Education Edition, but there are no ancient poems, accounting for 12% of the total textbook. There is no denying that this is a considerable proportion. Then, we can't help thinking seriously: how should ancient poetry be taught?

Accurately understand the content of ancient poetry

There are two main reasons why ancient poems are difficult to understand: one is the refinement of words, and the other is the love of using argot. The riddle is the ancestor of China's poetry. Poets always like others to ponder their poems carefully, while readers always want to see the events covered up in the poems clearly. In this way, their preferences created many images and allusions in China's ancient poems. If teachers don't know the allusions contained in poems and the images expressed by things appearing in poems, they can easily interpret poems.

For example, in Wang Zhihuan's "In the Loft", when many teachers teach this poem, they generally explain the meaning of the poem in this way: "The red sun slowly sets against the ups and downs of mountains, and the Yellow River flows eastward. If we want to see further places, we need by going up one flight of stairs. " It seems that Wang Zhihuan is just conveying to us the idea that only by climbing high can we see far. In fact, is this really the case? No, the first two sentences have other meanings hidden in the depths of the text.

In this poem, "daytime" and "Yellow River flows eastward" have different meanings. "Daylight" generally refers to "life" and "youth", and "Yellow River water flows eastward" means the passing of youth, and time is gone forever, just like "Don't you see, how the Yellow River water moved out of heaven, entered the ocean and never returned".

Knowing this, let's read the poem again. Are the first two sentences vaguely helpless before the passage of time? Of course, it may not be so clear to primary school students, but the teacher must know it in his heart.

What is an image? Regarding image, many people understand it this way: image refers to objective and concrete things; Meaning is the author's spiritual experience, thoughts and feelings. Have a unique feeling, through the inner imagination, present a distinct image in your mind, called image. It is a nation's unique cultural feelings and unique symbolic significance. For example, "Hongyan" symbolizes homesickness and emissary, "Du Fu" symbolizes "unlucky beauty, worrying about the country and people, mourning for sincerity", "Dongli" symbolizes "refined realm" and "chrysanthemum" symbolizes "noble quality" ...

Poetic imagery is the basis of a beautiful poem. Through imagination and association, students can understand the artistic conception and thoughts and feelings in poetry, so as to avoid deviation from the meaning of poetry.

Understand the emotions contained in poetry.

In order to truly understand the emotion in poetry, students must enter the social background and the author's life at that time.
