I just want to talk about the translation issue of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" because I have done some understanding before.
The translation issue of "One Hundred Years of Solitude"
High School Chinese "One Hundred Years of Solitude" in the textbook was translated by the famous translator Mr. Lin Yian and published by Sanlian Publishing House in 1987. The translation is still very good because Mr. Lin Yian was published by Colombia Black Sheep Publishing House and won the Nobel Prize in 1982 in Marquez. The translation is based on the version carefully edited and published after the Bell Prize for Literature. It is translated directly from Spanish, so the original flavor is very good
However, there are many other versions in China because of the impact of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" on our country. Literary creation has a profound influence, so there are many translations. The one I read is Huang Jinyan’s translation published by Shanghai Translation Publishing House. This version is also very good. Of course, there is also the 1984 translation by Mr. Gao Changrong from Beijing October Literature and Art Publishing House, which is one of the earliest translations< /p>
In addition, there is also a full translation by Mr. Wu Jianheng, published by Yunnan People's Publishing House. I have not read this version, so it is inconvenient to comment, but Mr. Wu's ability is still trustworthy
There are others. There are Taiwanese translations, one by Song Biyun and one by Yang Naidong, but I have never read them.
I saw Song’s translation in the library but I didn’t read it carefully
