Who is the original singer of the hymn?

The original song and lyrics of Ode to the Orient were appointed by Premier Zhou on 1964 as the grand song and dance conductor of Dongfanghong.

Lyrics of the hymn:

Come to Tiananmen Square from the grassland, hold high the golden cup, and make great strides.

Thank the great * * * production party and celebrate our liberation.

The hero's motherland stands in the east, shining like the rising sun.

Brothers of all ethnic groups gathered together to praise the rise and prosperity of China.

Extended data:

This hymn is one of the works of the large-scale dance epic Dongfanghong, and it is also one of Hu Songhua's representative works. In music, the first four sentences of "new long tune without words" and the second half of "multi-short tune folk songs" were created, and a new "marriage combination" was carried out.

The sixth "Grand Gala" of Dongfanghong was originally a pure dance program. In order to enhance the festive atmosphere to celebrate the birth of New China, Premier Zhou decided to add a tenor solo in the first part of Scene 6, preferably in Mongolian music style, with a backup singer.

Knowing that Hu Songhua has just returned to Beijing from Inner Mongolia grassland with the experience of "four in one" in life, and has independently created Senjidema and Song of Harvest, this task naturally falls on his shoulders.
