Someone once joked that Ying Pinfang's rapid intervention in Dongbai Mountain tourism can be described as "Shenzhen speed": On May 2, 1996, when he was a staff member of Weishan Town Government, he went to the mountain for a summer vacation, attracted by the unique natural conditions here and saw its potential tourism development value; The next day, he reached an intention with Dongbaishan Tea Farm. The contract was signed on May 4th; On May 5, bricks, cement and other materials were transported to the mountain; On June 18th, Dongbai Summer Resort opened for business.
Ying Pinfang said that at first, he thought it was a summer resort with low temperature in summer. The propaganda slogan that the reporter saw on the roadside was his original creation.
Dongbai Mountain Villa was built on the former site of the Dongbai Mountain Zen Forest Temple, which was built in the sixth year of Tang Taihe (832). Since then, Ying Pinfang has paid attention to the business opportunities around him. He began to explore the unique beauty of Dongbai Mountain, and invited friends from photography and literature circles to travel up the mountain to promote Dongbai Mountain. The idea of wind power generation in Dongbai Mountain can also be said to come from Ying Pinfang's discovery. The top of the mountain is full of wind all year round, and sometimes people will be blown untenable. As early as a few years ago, Ying Pinfang put forward the idea of developing wind power generation. Two months ago, two anemometers were set up at the top of the mountain. According to the test results, Alkey He, the chief engineer of the Provincial Electric Power Design and Research Institute, thinks that the effective utilization of wind power hours on Dongbai Mountain is better than the expected value, and it is ideal to set up a wind power station. In fact, the development of Dongbai Mountain has been proposed for nearly 1 years. In 1998, the party committee and government of Hulu Town asked Dongyang Planning and Design Institute to make a preliminary planning and design of the scenic spot, and after years of efforts, certain results have been achieved. However, compared with the neighboring Zhuji City, the development of Dongbai Mountain in Dongyang City is "insignificant".
