Tips for writing poems

Confucius said: without words, it is not far away. Confucius' words are more suitable for poetry.

? As for the norms of poetic meter, ancient books have been prepared, so I won't repeat them here.

? Poetry developed from four words (mainly four words at first) to five words, six words and seven words. It has gone through hundreds of thousands of years, from ancient times to Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, and finally to Tang and Song Dynasties. The elegance of the Tang Dynasty is incomparable with the elegance of the Song Dynasty. From this point, the development of poetry is not slow. This also reveals that poetry is not created by working people after work, as some people say, and also shows that poetry is precious because it is rare.

? It is really not easy to systematically discuss how to write poems, and it is beyond our control. I'm just sharing my experience over the years with you. Please correct me if there are similarities or mistakes.

Poetry comes from life. How to look at life, people and things in life, then these impressions of life will be reflected in his poems. It is conceivable that if a person doesn't even love life and doesn't even pay attention to people and things around him, even if he can write poetry, it is tasteless and disgusting, not even poetry. Therefore, the premise of how to write poetry is to have a heart that loves life. My eyes should be full of tears when I read "poor white bones by the river are still living in a spring dream"

With a delicate heart, you should be crazy. The so-called madness is to pity others, to love others and not to love them, and the value of impermanent people has extraordinary good and evil. Or laugh at the present, or laugh at others, view the world of mortals with the heart of Buddha, and solve problems with the heart of Tao.

The above two points are the essentials of writing poetry. Without them, although they have the ability to grasp the pen, they are just zombies who have lost their souls.

Only with the heart and madness of poetry can we talk about poetry. As for skill, it's just that swimmers steer the boat and are not afraid of drowning. Sincerely, we should also talk about the skills of writing poems, otherwise the whole article will fall into metaphysics, superficiality and posturing.

Pay attention to rules in everything. The so-called wood is straight in the rope and wood is in the wheel. Writing poetry, especially for beginners, must stick to the rules. The so-called composition is nothing more than the word meter.

When writing a poem for the first time, don't bite off more than one can chew. You might as well write only twenty words. If I am going to Linzhi Road now, while writing this article, I will write a small five-character "Linzhi Impression":

? There are white clouds in Tibet and deep rain and dew in Linzhi.

? Jiangnan is good everywhere, not as good as spring here.

? Linzhi is in southern Tibet, which is true. My impression of Linzhi can be summarized in these twenty words.

? There is nothing mysterious about poetry. Put aside flowery words and use simple and easy-to-understand words. Beginners may wish to read more poems by Wang Wei. Such as "moonlight in the pine forest, crystal stone in the stream", there is not a word I don't know, and there is no word with allusions, but it is so fresh and natural that it is simply a stroke of genius.

To sum up, beginners should avoid being insatiable, pretending to be profound and moaning in pursuit of words. Learning poetry is like practicing martial arts. Stand well from the beginning. The so-called stance is the basic skill. The following are some requirements for basic skills:

First, duality:

Confrontation is the most basic requirement of poetry. When using antithesis, we should keep the part of speech unchanged, the meaning is similar or opposite, and the tone of words is relative, such as flat voice to flat voice. Violation of the above three points will greatly reduce the readability of the poem. In the pursuit of antithesis, Du Fu is a master among poets, so we can pay more attention to Du Fu's efforts in the pursuit of antithesis.

Second, the poetic mind:

The so-called poetic heart is not only the central idea to be expressed in poetry, but also the purpose and original intention of the author himself in writing poetry. A poem does not need to express multiple meanings, so it is difficult to "go hand in hand". It's good to show a little concern. In fact, what the ancients called poetry is far-fetched. There are many poems that fail to express their aspirations. But poetry still needs to express the heart, even if it is a love poem, even if it is a dirty poem. "The peony is still fragrant after the rain. Remember that the moon shines on the west wing." Isn't it a beautiful poem today?

Third, practicing calligraphy: a poem, broken down to the smallest unit, is a word. The so-called word is vivid, and a word can turn decay into magic. "The branches of red apricots are noisy in spring", a noisy word, writes all the bright colors of red apricots and brings vitality to spring; "Spring breeze is green in Jiang Nanan", a green word, gives Chunsheng feet and wings. "The desert is lonely and straight, and the long river sets the yen" has always been a circle, describing the silence and desolation of the desert. It is not difficult to practice Chinese characters. It is nothing more than working hard on the replacement of Chinese characters. It is said that Wang Anshi used many words before "Qing", such as "Zhi" and "Zhi".

Fourth, writing more poems is only a technical job to a certain extent. Jing M.Guo imitates writing novels, and so does poetry. He began to imitate the style of the ancients, and even changed a few words after copying, but after a long time, he had a template for poetry in his heart. On this basis, you can create a well-thought-out plan. Don't worry that painting a tiger is not anti-dog, but it can be summarized by attacking jade from other mountains.

Of course, mastering the above skills and points may not make you an excellent poet, but at least it won't be as incomprehensible as Zhang Boli's lingering epigrams.
