Akhmatova's Poems

For me who graduated from the Chinese Department of 1989, there are two major events that I will never forget. One of them is that the United Nations named this year "the year of Akhmatova". She is not outstanding in appearance, but she is known as the moon in Russian poetry.

Poetry cannot be translated into other languages. As long as you read the English version of The Book of Songs, you will understand that even the top masters, who have spent their whole lives, can't bear to see the translated results, but this doesn't mean that poems can't be translated. I like reading foreign poems translated into Chinese very much. Although we can't appreciate the beautiful rhythm and beautiful words, we can still feel the poet's heart.

Today, I flew from Shenzhen to Beijing, sat for three and a half hours, read Akhmatova's poems again, and extracted some chapters that can make me move as follows:

You're free, I'm free,

Tomorrow will be better than yesterday-

On the dark flowing water of neva river.

Among Peter the Great

Under a cold smile.

True gentleness is silence.

Can't be mistaken for something else.

But the terrible times are coming to an end,

You'll be young and carefree again,

We will keep this indifference and mystery.

In short, it's only for you once.

Knowing my sad story,

A smile on a sly face ...

Since you don't give me love and peace,

Then give me the glory of pain.

Insomnia, you are my companion!

I'll get used to your dull face. ...

What about the unruly beauty?

I can't sing for you, okay?

I haven't seen much in my life,

Just keep singing and waiting.

I know, I never hated my brother,

I didn't betray my sister either.

Honey, don't wrinkle my letter,

Don't cry for the lies in your heart,

You must put it at the bottom.

Hiding in your poor backpack.

I gasped and shouted, "Those things have passed,

This is just a joke. If you leave, I will die! "

He said to me, "Don't stand in the wind!" "

A calm and painful smile.

My heart is so cold,

The pace is so fast.

I put gloves on my left hand.

Wear it on my right hand.

You sucked my heart like a straw,

I know, it tastes bitter and drunk,

But I don't beg to stop your torture.

Alas, I left the door open,

I didn't light the candle,

You know how tired I am,

But I'm not ready for bed.

Whether it's water or sweet wine,

We stop sipping from cups,

We stopped kissing in the morning,

At dusk, I no longer watch the sunset from the window.

Your heart is connected with the sun, my heart is connected with the moon,

But we live because of the same love.

There are always so many requirements when you are in love!

Abandoned, without any demands,

How happy I am: now it is a pool of clear water.

Stay with the dead under the pale ice.

Everything here is the same as before,

There can be no hope here.

The house is located next to an impassable road.

Its windows should have been sealed long ago.
