Jesus asked me to love others more than myself. What should I do?
So before we learn to love others, we often need to learn to love ourselves first. About loving yourself, I recommend you find a book to read. I believe it will help your doubts. This book is called Servant. Individuals get a lot from it. Not only do we have a new understanding of the word "love", but the attitude towards servants in the book can also help us to serve others with humility and education in the service and workplace. Love, if used on God, is unconditional love, and God's love for us is unconditional, so we know that salvation is given to us in vain. The only way to accept this salvation is to believe in the salvation of Jesus Christ, and this salvation and this love will come to us. As for the word love, we often regard it as a noun or adjective. In fact, it can be a verb. Love others as yourself. Love doesn't mean that you have to have a "feeling of love" or that you love your family or your close partner. This kind of love is an action that shows that you are willing to accept him as he is in Christ. You know he is bad, but you are willing to accept him in the Lord because you know that the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ comes to every sinner, including you and me. Acceptance is not the same as approval. You accept him as a person, but you don't agree with his behavior or thoughts on some things. You only know how much the Lord loves him, so you are willing to pity his actions or thoughts with the heart of loving the Lord. You accepted him in the Lord. This is a sign of love, not asking you to love those people with the same feeling that you love them. To love yourself is to love yourself. Many times, we don't know how to love ourselves, or even how to love ourselves. We often have a lot of accusations and censures against ourselves. We often have a lot of uncertainty about ourselves, and even have a low sense of inferiority and negative image. Even if we often ignore our feelings, or dare not speak our desires, we often feel guilty and think it is not spiritual to express our emotions or expectations. Many people have a wrong understanding of themselves, so that each of us is often disabled and often uses our own injuries to stab others without knowing it. In the final analysis, we don't know how to love ourselves, and we can't deeply understand God's love for us and Jesus' love on the cross. The Bible says that when we are redeemed, all our written evidence is erased. What a deep love it is. Think backwards. In fact, many times, we can learn how we get along with ourselves from our attitudes and ideas towards others.
