Mrs. Guo Guo Thanks to the Lord's kindness, I rode into the palace gate in Pingming.
But I don’t like the makeup to stain the color, so I lightly sweep my eyebrows towards the Supreme Being.

Mrs. Guo Guo was favored by the emperor and entered the palace gate on horseback early in the morning.
I thought the makeup would tarnish her beauty, so I just put on my eyebrows and went in to see the Supreme Being.
Analysis?
This poem satirizes the arrogance and coquettishness of Mrs. Guo Guo. Mrs. Guo Guo was Yang Yuhuan's third sister. She married into the Pei family and was a person with a very bad reputation at the time. She is not a "concubine", but she "receives the Lord's favor", and "rides a horse into the palace" and "comes to the Supreme Court". She relied on her beauty and did not apply makeup, which shows her frivolity and Xuanzong's mediocrity. The language of these two poems is quite implicit. They seem to be complimentary, but in fact they are derogatory. They are deeply ironic and penetrating.
