Appreciation of Poetry-Komatsu

Komatsu can't be seen in the dense grass, but now it is found to be much higher than those weeds (Artemisia). Those people didn't know that the tree could grow very high at that time, and they didn't say it was tall until it grew into a towering tree.

Komatsu was buried in the grass when it was first unearthed. It was pitifully small and nobody cared. But it didn't bow its head, didn't lose heart, grew silently and soared. This just let people know that the humble Komatsubara buried in the deep grass is "Lingyunmu"! Therefore, the poet lamented that short-sighted "people of the time" would not take Komatsu as a pillar. How many Komatsu were destroyed and hacked because of their ignorance, and how many talented people like Komatsu suffered the same tragic fate!
