Poetry, the song of white seagulls

This poem was transcribed from Tan Sitong's Seeking the Order. 1960 1 month When Spark first appeared, the topic was Seagull-Give me liberty or give me death, and the poem was followed by an postscript written by Lu Fan on the eve of the May 4th Movement in 1949.

What's that?-prisoners, don't be sad,

Look! Where young people are silent,

A snow-white seagull flew out of the waves,

Spread your wings and soar against the wind.

That's him, our unyielding soldier,

He rushed to death and defeated it.

The rest of the chain has sunk to the bottom of the sea,

Now, he is as free as the wind.

Ah! Seagull Ah! Heroic traitor,

He will be respected among the dead,

His soul became free-

Wan Li is full of hometown under the clear sky!
