The long hair spreads all over my eyes,
thus blocking all the shameful and disgusting glances,
from the rapid flow of blood and the sleep of withered bones.
The night and the mosquitoes come slowly together,
crossing the corner of this short wall,
howling wildly behind my innocent ears,
< p>Like the howling wind in the wilderness:It has trembled countless nomads.
Rely on a piece of grass to travel back and forth with the Spirit of God in the empty valley.
My sorrow can only be deeply imprinted in the brain of a wandering bee;
Maybe it flows with the mountain spring on the cliff,
and then disappears with the red leaves.
The hidden worries of an abandoned wife are piled on the movements,
The fire of the setting sun cannot turn the boredom of time
into ashes and fly away from the smoke,
Long-dyed in the feathers of wandering crows,
I will rest on the rocks of the tsunami,
Listen quietly to the song of the boatman.
The aging skirt groans,
Wandering beside the tomb,
There will never be tears,
drops on the grass
For the decoration of the world.
About the author:
Li Jinfa (1900-1976), formerly known as Li Shuliang, was born in Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong. In his early years, he studied at St. Joseph's School in Hong Kong, and later went to Shanghai to attend the preparatory class for studying in France at Nanyang Middle School. In 1919, he went to France for a work-study program. In 1921, he studied at the Dijon School of Fine Arts and the Imperial School of Fine Arts in Paris.
Li Jinfa's "Mild Rain", "Songs for Happiness" and "Dinners and Bad Years" published from 1925 to 1927 are representative works of the early symbolic poetry school in China and are the pioneers of Chinese new poetry art. Useful exploration and attempts have been made in development.
