Also known as Wuerhe windy city. Located in the northwest edge of Junggar Basin, Wuerhe District, northeast of Karamay City, about 100 km away from Karamay City, with a northwest-southeast trend, with a total area of about 120 square kilometers. Among them, the scenic spot is about 5000 meters long and 3000 meters wide, with an area of about 15 square kilometers and a ground elevation of about 350 meters. The landscape of the scenic spot is criss-crossed with ravines and jagged rocks, which belongs to the typical Ya Dan landform and is one of the two world-famous Ya Dan landforms.
2. Baiyang River Grand Canyon
Also known as Baiyang Valley. It is a river valley between Baiyang River Reservoir and Wuerhe District, which runs from east to west and is alluvial by Baiyang River. The canyon is 24 kilometers long, with steep bank slopes and steep rock walls on both sides, with bank heights ranging from 20 to 30 meters. The water level in the valley ranges from 5m to10m. The river twists and turns along the valley, and after hundreds of millions of years of wind and rain erosion, it has long been strangely shaped.
3. Black Mountain Tour
Located 2000 meters northeast of Karamay city, it looks like a low hill with a relative height of only about 13 meters and an area of about 0.2 square kilometers. It is an asphalt dune formed by natural eruption, overflow, condensation and weathering of underground crude oil for many years, and it is composed of sandstone soaked in oil or glutenite condensed by oil. The whole hill is dark brown with uneven surface. Up to now, there are still many oil springs and oil bubbles spewing out on the hills, forming many small oil marshes.
