Tang Li Bai
Shu once heard of Zigui bird,
Xuancheng also has azaleas.
A call, an ileum, a rest,
Think back to three buses in March and March. I have seen rhododendrons in Shu and rhododendrons in Xuancheng. Once the cuckoo crows, my tears flow once, and my heart aches. It's a beautiful spring in March, and I've been thinking about the No.3 bus in my hometown. Appreciate Yelang, forgive and return, and now live in Jiangnan, living in the fence. Soon I got sick again and had a miserable night. It is human nature that people will be homesick when they are old, not to mention that the poet is old and sick, so a strong homesickness hit the poet's heart.
Poetry is aroused by feeling things. "Shu once smelled birds and Xuancheng also saw azaleas." In late spring and March, Li Bai, who was staying in Xuancheng, suddenly felt that his dim eyes were red. On closer inspection, it turned out that the azaleas were in bloom. Isn't this cuckoo the flower of my hometown? The poet's homesickness was touched in this way.
In Shu, whenever the cuckoo blooms, the birds begin to crow. Zigui bird, also known as cuckoo, has the same name as bird, which is also a reason for the poet's association. This bird is said to be the soul of Du Yu, the ancient Shu emperor. Du Yu, who was called "",thought he was weak in virtue, so he abdicated and died. After his death, he became a cuckoo. In late spring, it whines, as if calling, "It's better to go home! It is better to go home! " Day and night, I kept crying and my mouth was bleeding. At this moment, the poet seemed to hear the hoof of Zigui bird and called him home one after another.
One or two sentences in the poem form a natural antithesis, which truly reproduces the process of touching homesickness from the comparison and connection between geography and time. The word order of these two sentences is reversed: originally, I saw the azaleas in Xuancheng first, and then I thought of the Zigui birds in Shu, but the poet reversed it, writing the virtual scene in memory first, and then writing the real scene in front of me. In this way, the thought of the old country is placed in a prominent position, indicating that the thought of the old country is trapped in the heart, and once it is aroused today, it will be extremely bitter and intense. However, how can a poet who is tortured by homesickness return to his hometown now? In his youth, he "fought bravely to serve the country, resigned from his relatives and traveled far away" and wanted to realize his grand ambition in the vast world outside his hometown. I want to retire and return to my hometown. Who would have thought that he had accomplished nothing and come to this step? How can he meet his elders in Shu? What's more, Li Bai is now trapped in Xuancheng, dragging his old and sick body and unable to embark on a journey. A poet who has been wandering all his life, in the end, not only has no home in politics and career, but also has no sustenance on him. Looking at my hometown thousands of miles away, I can imagine the sadness in my heart.
Three or four sentences, followed by one or two sentences respectively, further enhanced the deep homesickness. The first sentence says "I have heard of it", and the third sentence emphasizes the truth: Zigui bird is commonly known as heartbroken bird, and the poet's sorrow is broken inch by inch. At the end of the period, the seasons are distinct, and the second sentence adds the words "March March"; The word "Memories of March 38" highlights the theme of homesickness, integrating the blooming of azaleas, the sad cry of Zigui and the heartbroken pain of the poet, and enveloping the whole poem with boundless sadness. Three or four sentences in the poem seem to be antithetical, but they are not quite correct. The poem connects the words "one" and "three" respectively, which makes people feel extremely sad and painful when homesickness strikes.
