Why do poems change so many lines?

Lyric poetry is conducive to expressing the poet's feelings, and it can express his own meaning through other things, which is in line with the way of expressing his feelings implicitly and euphemistically. Therefore, poets prefer to express themselves in lyric ways.

Lyric poetry is characterized by concentrated expression of the poet's thoughts and feelings aroused in his life, mainly to express the poet's thoughts and feelings to reflect his life, so he doesn't describe the process of life events in detail, and generally has no complete story, and doesn't specifically describe people and scenery. Lyric poetry is characterized by focusing on expressing one's mind directly and expressing feelings through scenery, while excellent lyric poetry often stirs the melody of the times.

Lyric poetry has always been the mainstream of China's poetry. Most of the poems from The Book of Songs and Songs of the South to Li Bai, Du Fu and Li Shangyin are lyric poetry, and narrative poetry is a kind of poetry with less influence than lyric poetry. Du Fu's poems such as "Shi Hao Li" and some long lines of Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi are narrative poems, and reasoning poems appeared in the Song Dynasty. Narrative poems and reasoning poems are less influential than lyric poems.
