Cicero (106 BC to 43 BC) was the most famous politician, orator, essayist and Latin language master in ancient Rome. He was hailed as the "Master of Latin Prose" by future generations. His works possess all the advantages of Roman literature and are models of Roman prose. Even his political rival, Caesar, who was highly accomplished in prose, admired his writing style.
