The Significance of Ancient Chrysanthemum Poetry

"Chrysanthemum" is a poem written by Yuan Zhen, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, which means that chrysanthemums are clustered around the house in autumn, just like Tao Qian's home. If you swim around the fence, you won't feel the sun setting. It's not that I particularly like the chrysanthemum in glistening flowers, but that there are no flowers after it blooms.

Original text:

In autumn, the bushes, like Taoist priests, are more and more inclined around the fence.

It's not that chrysanthemums are favored among flowers, but that this flower is even more flowerless.

Appreciate:

This poem first describes how many autumn chrysanthemums bloom like Tao Yuanming's home, and the poet's carefree mode when he focuses on flowers; Later, from the perspective of chrysanthemum dying at the latest, I wrote my own unique reasons for loving chrysanthemum, implying my admiration for the strong character of chrysanthemum dying in the cold. The whole poem is novel and natural in conception, ingenious in brushwork, elegant and simple in language and full of charm.
