How to set the composition grid paper format in Word?

When making Chinese test papers, the final composition questions should be set to the composition grid manuscript paper format. What should I do? Let's have a look.

First of all, we open the Word word processing system (here I use WPS software, as for the Office software, the interface layout is slightly different, and the operation is the same) to create a new blank page.

Then click page layout in the menu bar at the top of the page, find the manuscript paper settings and click, as shown in the figure below.

We can see that Word is a non-manuscript document by default.

Then we check the mode of using manuscript paper, select the grid in the grid option, and click OK to set the style of manuscript paper in the composition format.

There are other styles we can look at. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the grid to view them.

If we choose the line type, we can see the following effect.

Select the border, and the effect will be as shown in the figure below.
