Also known as the scattered tomb in Jizhong, it is located at the south foot of Jishan Mountain in Shigong Town, Guoyang County (formerly Suixi Linhuan). Yang Guo belonged to Suzhou before the establishment of the county. In the year of Jiaqing 10 (1805), Li Qingyu of Suzhou wrote in the inscription "Rebuilding Jikang Tomb": "There is a tomb of Dr. Ye (Zi Kang) in the west of Suzhou. Its tomb was built by chiseling stones on the mountain, and the boulder sealed the door and covered the mountain soil. The tomb is in the mountainside, and its appearance is integrated with the mountain. Now the tomb hole has been found, but the tomb has been stolen, leaving only an empty tomb.
On Ji Kang's Death from His Character
Ji Kang is a man of great character, and you can see a true image of Ji Kang from his poems. Ji Kang is an individual, but he has never changed his character at all. I have read Ji Kang's works carefully, and I can see his unruly character from his lines. I think Ji Kang died because of his character.
The direct cause of Ji Kang's death is his character. Ji Kang's poetic style "Wen Xin Diao Long" was rated as "Ji Zhi Qing Jun", and "Ming Poetry" also said: "Uncle night is a knight, so he is in high spirits." We notice that although the two comments are not the same, we should find striking similarities: in the eyes of the author of Wen Xin Diao Long and Shi Ming, a poem by Ji Kang has a "stern" feature, from which we can see the unacceptable side of Ji Kang's character. There is a sentence in the Biography of Zhu Fu in the Later Han Dynasty, which is the word "Jun" in the sentence "despised by Wen Jun", which means "harsh and severe" and is as elegant as people. From this, it can be inferred that there must be something unacceptable in Ji Kang's character, which is just my personal guess. But I think this speculation is not unreasonable.
Ji Kang expressed his nine insufferables in "Breaking Up with Shan Ju Yuan", including "I don't like funerals, but I value humanity, I don't see forgiveness, I want to see injuries; Although Qu Ran blames himself, his nature is hard to change. If he wants to obey the custom, he is reluctant, and he can't get rid of injustice and reputation. And "he's just sick in his intestines, but he doesn't choose his words. If something happens, something will happen. "In order to carry forward the nature of cautious independence and unify these nine diseases, there is no external difficulty. When there is an internal disease, it is better to stay in the evil of the world for a long time? " It can be seen that there is a kind of character in Ji Kang's character that is not world-weary. In Ji Kang's eyes, there are too many trivial troubles in the world, and Ji Kang's nature can't stand such troubles. And the life he yearns for is to forget the troubles in the world. Ji Kang's health theory says, "Hemerocallis forget their worries". Hemerocallis is a kind of Zi Xuan, also known as a girl without sadness. Wuzhong scholars call it prevention of disease. It can be seen that Ji Kang's temperament can't accept his era, but he is eager to surpass his era. As he expressed in "Breaking Up with Mountain Juyuan", "There is no external difficulty in unifying these nine diseases. When there is an internal disease, it is better to stay in the evil of the world for a long time? "
In fact, what he means is that he can't accept such an era, because there are inevitably troubles in the world. Ji Kang likes a carefree life, so he wants to live a life of "sightseeing, watching fish and birds" and "very happy". The life he wants to live is entirely based on his nature, and he is unwilling to change a little. Because people are born and die, at that time, people regarded the funeral as a major event in society, but Ji Kang was unwilling to obey the world, which showed his stubborn and unruly side. Since he can't obey this world, Ji Kang certainly hopes to surpass his world-a world that his temperament can't accept. He longed to surpass his own world, so he "listened to the last words of the Taoist priest, worshipped the pavilion and Huang Jing, and made people live longer and believe it." In Ji Kang's eyes, he is right, and so is his belief in pursuing the essence. Even if he is completely different from his contemporaries, he just "follows nature and does not move for things." I can't help feeling that Ji Kang's concept is actually very similar to Qu Yuan's. Qu Yuan's concept is "I am alone in the turbid water in the world, and I am awake when I am drunk in the world". However, Ji Kang's sharpness is much more restrained than Qu Yuan's. There is such a description in the nineteenth biography of the Book of Jin, "(Kang) is cautious in words and deeds". Maybe he is disdainful of worldly contacts.
Ji Kang's behavior is really weird and unimaginable to outsiders. The nineteenth biography of the Book of Jin records: "(Kang) is very clever and easy to forge. There is a willow tree in the house, surrounded by water. Everyone in Yuexia lives under forging. " People who know him will accept his temperament, but what will people who don't know him think of him? In fact, Ji Kang is still a very talented person, so Dan Tao recommended him to be an official, but according to Ji Kang's temperament, he was unwilling to accept it, because according to Ji Kang's own statement, "If you are self-sufficient, you will be miserable, and you will be miserable." Ji Kang will break up with Dan Tao just because Dan Tao recommended him to be an official. In fact, it can be seen from this incident that Ji Kang's personality is very contradictory, because Ji Kang said at the beginning, "The only people who are close to God are Liu Chen Ruan Ji, Dan Tao Hanoi, Hunan Embroidery Hanoi ...". Because of this, I think my best friend has ended the relationship, and we can also see that Ji Kang regards his own nature as extremely important and does not allow anyone to interfere with his pursuit of nature, even his closest friends. Judging from his life, Ji Kang can be regarded as a man whose words and deeds are consistent. He said: "A gentleman's behavior is virtuous, but his behavior is not quantitative." Let the heart be innocent, don't say yes; Whatever happens next. "Ji Kang's behavior is not because he acts according to any ready-made rules, but everything acts according to his nature. These are the embodiment of Ji Kang's "the more famous, the more natural".
It is precisely because he advocates the nature of nature that he is unwilling to worry about the world, but only willing to be calm. Cai Weishan. Sporadic caves. Whistling and singing forever. It is a good thing to improve your living standard. "Because of this, Ji Kangcai didn't want to be an official. It is his nature that Ji Kang is unwilling to be an official. In fact, Ji Kang was "cautious in words and deeds", but he still acted according to his own temperament, but he didn't want to get in touch with the rulers at that time, and he was always temperamental to the people around him. In fact, Ji Kang died indirectly at the hands of Zhong Hui. For the death of Ji Kang, the Nineteenth Biography of the Book of Jin has such a record: "(Hui) said to Wendi:' Ji Kang, Wolong also can't get up. The public has no worries about the world, and regards health as a tiger's ear. "Because of' Kang's desire to help, he didn't listen. Yesterday, a total of Tuhanshi was killed, and Lu Zhu was less righteous, and he sincerely taught it tomorrow, so the sages are gone. The dissolute remarks of Kang and An are not suitable for emperors unless they are destroyed. It is appropriate to eliminate the disaster because of it, and to be honest with customs. The emperor's self-listening will also hurt him. "There is no doubt that the clock has a lot to do with Ji Kang's death, and it should even be directly responsible for Ji Kang's death. Of course, talented people are unwilling to serve the rulers, which will certainly cause panic among the rulers in society at that time. On the one hand, the ruler is afraid that he will gather people to rebel; On the other hand, these talented people have a great influence on the etiquette and music education of rulers. In Ji Kang's "Breaking Up with the Mountain", Ji Kang described himself as "no soup, martial arts are only sparse and boring ..." At that time, Confucianism was regarded as orthodox thought, and it was reactionary to publicly express himself as "a soup, but also a thin hole". How could the rulers at that time tolerate people who violated their orthodox ideas? Because Ji Kang's death is inevitable, even if there is no bell. But Zhong Hui still saw Ji Kang's fatal shortcoming. "Kang, Ann and other debauchery, not suitable for the emperor. It is advisable to get rid of it because of it, in order to be honest with customs. "In fact, Zhong Hui and Ji Kang may not have great hatred, but there is still a gap between them. There is such a description in Miscellaneous Notes No.497 of Tai Ping Guang Ji: "Once upon a time, my father Yan's family was killed, and Ji Kang was framed to death by Zhong Hui, so Cao Cao advised his son to say,' I am also angry with small mistakes, so you must never learn this.' You study and promote your morality, with neutralization as the first priority. "From this we can know that Ji Kang must not be a neutral person in Cao Cao's eyes. In fact, this can be seen from Ji Kang's words and deeds. "The Nineteenth Biography of the Book of Jin" has such a record: "At the beginning, Kang lived in poverty, learning and Xiang embroidery forged under the big tree and gave them to himself. Noble children are generous, concise and eloquent, so they make a fuss. Health is not a gift, but forging. I walked for a long time, and Kang said,' What did you hear? Why did you leave? The meeting said,' I heard it and came, but I saw it and left. You'll regret it. "In the eyes of ordinary people, such words are very inflammatory. What's more, such words are said to a rich disciple like Zhong Hui? A disciple of a rich family like Zhong Hui must be proud. How can he stand Ji Kang's cold words? I think Ji Kang's attitude towards others has laid a curse. It should be said that Zhong Hui still worships Ji Kang. Zhong Hui's article is very good, but it is not as famous as Ji Kang, so he wrote an article and sent it out. When I arrived at Ji Kang's house, I didn't dare to go in, so I had to roll up the article, throw it in and run away. But once this is thrown in, there is no news. Zhong Hui, who is too lofty, must feel that his self-esteem has been greatly hit, so Zhong Hui must not tolerate Ji Kang.
Ji Kang's death happened under this background. On the one hand, Ji Kang can't tolerate people, on the other hand, Ji Kang can't tolerate people. It's not that Ji Kang is narrow-minded, but Ji Kang's insistence on nature in general. Ji Kang, who is persistent by nature, will not accept Confucian education very obediently. For the era when Confucianism is orthodox, it will definitely make the rulers have the idea of eliminating dissidents. Ji Kang's casual personality is the direct cause of Ji Kang's death. It was Ji Kang's character that led to Ji Kang's death.
