Ji Yue
faintly, the dim light
bathes the forest at sea.
It's lonely and deep in the forest,
It's still dripping with new rain at dusk. //
mica-faced poplars walk
lead in front of me frankly,
lead me to the silent seaside.
waves of dimfragrance kissed me. //
I feel cold.
You are wrapped in clouds and clothes like that.
You have a beautiful moon.
Please lend me a white dress. //
There is no sleep in my eyes.
You are so foggy and locked.
You are the silent silver sea of elegant and upright,
Please mention your secluded Boeing and me. Great writers can always write works with the same maturity but different styles. This poem, contrary to Guo Moruo's bold, rough and gorgeous style, shows its own characteristics with strangeness. The light is light, the clouds are thin, the forest is lonely, the fragrance is floating, the coast is silent, and Boeing is secluded: nature is covered with a pale coat and seems to be silently meditating. What an intoxicating and beautiful scene! The poetic rhyme skillfully adopts the subtle "ing", "eng" and the deep "uo", which is completely in harmony with this scene. In this scene, the poet himself was completely intoxicated: the poplars guided in front of him, the floating fragrance kissed him, he was having a cordial conversation with the bright moon, and he asked Yinhai to sing with him. Here, man and nature are completely integrated, and this is the charm of poetry. Guo Moruo's natural poems during the May 4th Movement showed its uniqueness in this way, which was not found in Chinese classical poems and new poems in the early May 4th Movement.
the integration of man and nature is a manifestation of pantheism. Guo Moruo's pantheism has many sources, among which Goethe, Whitman, Shelley and Tagore all have pantheism. The pantheism in Whitman's poems is often a direct expression of this philosophy, which is inevitably boring. Goethe and Shelley have beautiful nature poems, and the nature they wrote is often full of active life, but the poet and nature are in the same position. Only Tagore wrote many poems about the unity of man and nature. Therefore, the style of Ji Yue seems to be closer to Tagore. Tagore has such a belief: "When we feel that the inner stream of our life is integrated with the outer life, we can find that all our joys and pains run through a long line of joy ... The relationship between my soul and today's beautiful autumn morning, this vast and splendid relationship, is an intimate friendship; And all these colors, smells and music are just the external manifestations of our secret communication. " (Tagore's Glimpse of Bangladesh) Is the expression in Ji Yue very similar to this idea? Guo Moruo and Jing You have a moonlit night, don't they also have "a kind of intimate friendship"? Isn't all the "colors, smells and music" of this quiet moonlit night also the "external expression of secret communication" between it and the poet? Isn't Ji Yue just expressing the poet's "inner life" and "outer life is one", so that people can experience the "joy" and feel the healthy and positive interest in life?
