Aken is a transliteration of Aken in Kazakh language, which means "poet", but it cannot be simply understood as a poet. Aken of Kazak is very different from China's poets, and Aken's extension is much wider than that of poets. Akon is the embodiment of a wise man, and Akon is the most knowledgeable, experienced and respected among Awule. Aken religion has played a great role in Kazakh history, literature, art and social functions. The academic circles of Kazakhstan and China in the former Soviet Union discussed the category of Akon. Scholars argue from different angles and have different views. A more concentrated view is that Akon's category should include poets, singers, storytellers and improvisers. It should be said that this basically covers the concept of Akon. Chinese now uses the Kazakh word "Aken" directly.
